In 1999, Alberto Sendra & Fernanda Japas met for the first time and started a career together that continues today, being one of the longest standing Argentine couples dancing together. Paired with a tango salon style influenced by the new dance currents without losing the essence of the tango golden age, they exhibited their art at the most renowned places in Buenos Aires tango circuit: Salon Canning (Parakultural), Club Independencia, Club Gricel, Sunderland, La Ideal, La Garufa, Glorias Argentinas and El Beso, among others. They have danced in the following theatres of Buenos Aires in 1999 - 2016: Alvear, Astral, Coliseo, Cervantes, de la Comedia y El Globo. In 2013, they established their own tango academy in Buenos Aires, “ALFER Espacio de Arte”, where they give group and private tango lessons. They are also long-standing tango masters at Escuela Argentina de Tango, Club La Independencia, Club Gricel, Obelisco Tango and Lo de Celia Tango Club. During their career, they have taught thousands of students of all levels, from early beginners to professionals. They have participated in the Buenos Aires world championship tango festival as teachers, judges and overseers . In addition to their work based in Buenos Aires, they have begun a successful career in: Brazil and Uruguay (2009, 2010 and 2011) Invited as guest teachers and performers at Campo Grande Tango Festival, 26° Winter Festival at Guimaraes, VI Festival at Matto Grosso and III Tango Festival de Uruguay. Asia (2013) Invited as guest teachers and performers in Bangkok. and as principal couple at the Saigon Tango Festival in Ho Chi Min City (Vietnam) Europe (2012, 2013, 2014, 2017,2018, 2019 and 2022. Invited for three consecutive years at the Tango Argentino Festival in Bonifacio and at MiTango Festival in Milano, invited several times as guest teachers and performers in France (Paris,Toulouse, Sable D’olonne, Montpellier and St. Giron), Italy (Turin, Milan), Belgium, Spain, Netherlands (several locations) Canada (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) Invited as guest teachers and performers in Calgary, Winnipeg and Edmonton, giving workshops and classes twice a year over a period of 3 months every time. 2022 they teach and perform in Morocco. Alberto & Fernanda have also danced accompanied by Color Tango Orchestra, Buenos Aires Philharmonic, Roberto Siri’ sexteto, Los Herederos del Compás, Erica Di Salvo Orchestra, Silvando Orchestra, Cuarteto Carvernet.
Anibal and Valeria are Argentine dancers and teachers, who represent the traditional style of Buenos Aires with a great personality and a touch of youth. They belong to the last generation formed by real milongueros and grandmasters. The teaching in classes and personal style has led them to travel the world with different shows or as teachers at prestigious festivals (Russia, China, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Belgium, France, Netherlands, UK, Brazil). They are choreographers, producers, and directors of the show “100% Tango” and from 2015 directors, organizers and producers of the “Antwerpen Tango Festival”. In ten years together they work to create a teaching method aiming to simplify the difficult, comfort, abrazo, naturalness, although without neglecting aesthetics. Their curiosity made them take classes with many teachers and very different styles, making them experience different types of abrazo, energy, techniques, and interpretations that are now very useful to exploit the capabilities of each student.
Aurore and Sebastián had been dancing tango for many years when they met in 2017 at a milonga in Paris. Shortly after, they decided to move to Buenos Aires, to study tango in all its aspects and to perfect their training. Going to classes, milongas and studios in Buenos Aires, they formed their dance over time and through hard work. They are vice-champions of the Carlos Gardel festival in Rosario in September 2019 as well as vice-champions of France 2019 in the stage tango category. Freshly returned, they are eager to share their experience, and pass on in turn what they have learned from great maestros. They give group and private lessons in Paris and Lille, in the provinces and abroad where they also give demonstrations.
What can you expect?
You will receive 10 lessons of 1.5 hours from top maestros.
These are scheduled at the coolest times of the day, normally in the morning after breakfast and in the evening. The first workshop will take place on Sunday evening and the last one on Friday evening.
After dinner there is a 'practica' for dancing.
In the afternoon you can use the dance hall for private lessons or practice. There are no classes on Wednesday evening. You will then have some time to explore the area and have dinner at a French restaurant.
Small group
You will be taught in a small group of a maximum of 6 couples.
This way everyone receives sufficient attention and personal guidance at his/her level.
The lessons are accessible to both dancers with little and a lot of experience.

There is plenty of free time to enjoy the pool, the garden, the surroundings and optional activities:

Arte Tango Festival Albi
From 23 to 27 August 2023 there will be the annual Arte Tango Festival in Albi.
This festival can be ideally combined with the tango week of Valeria and Anibal (August 20-26). During this week we will go with the whole group for an evening to a concert milonga in Albi.
After the holiday week you could stay the weekend in Albi for the festival and to enjoy the cozy, beautiful city!
Location & Accommodation
You will stay at Domaine Harmonie, a renovated farm, at the end of a dead end street, in a small village in the south of France.
Away from the busy tourist attractions, you can still find peace and quiet here.
Nearby are a few of 'les plus beaux villages de France', such as Cordes-sur-ciel , Monestiés , Sauveterre-de-Rouergue and Belcastel .
Albi , the capital of the French department of Tarn, is half an hour's drive away. Toulouse is an hour and a half away.
The domain
Domaine Harmonie consists of a private house, a beautiful dance hall with wooden floor, a cottage, an eco-loft, and a gîte with 4 en-suite bedrooms and a shared kitchen.
The site is 3ha, with a flowered garden, a swimming pool and a forest.
There is a lake within walking distance (about 20 minutes).

In the week before or after the tango week you can rent the cottage, the loft or a room in the gîte, to explore the area, relax a bit longer and enjoy the place and the environment here.
We do not offer breakfast or meals, so you have to cook yourself or find a restaurant nearby. To do this, you need your own transport.

Attention: there is also a Crespin in the Aveyron, not far from the Tarn. So be sure to enter the correct postal code.
By plane:
Ryanair has flights to Rodez on Friday and Monday. Then it is a 45 minute drive to Domaine Harmonie. Pick-up from and to the airport is possible: €80 per trip. Or you can rent a car at the airport.
There are also flights to Toulouse with Ryanair or Brussels Airlines. That is 1h30 drive from Domaine Harmonie.
